At 23ZERO, we stand behind the quality and durability of our gear. If your product has a manufacturing fault in materials or workmanship, we’ll repair, provide parts to make good or replace it — at our discretion — from the date and proof of purchase.

✅ What’s Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.

❌ What’s Not Covered

  • Our warranty does not cover damage caused by:
  • Incorrect setup, installation, or misuse
  • Modifications or tampering
  • Transit damage or general wear and tear
  • Condensation, mould, or rust from poor maintenance
  • Punctures, UV damage, prolonged weather exposure, or high winds
  • Broken poles or damage from excessive force (e.g. jammed or forced zippers)
  • Insect, animal, or child-related damage
  • Hydrolysis (breakdown of PU coatings due to moisture)
  • General poor maintenance

⚠️ Note on Hydrolysis

Hydrolysis occurs when polyurethane coatings absorb moisture over time — especially in humid or tropical climates. This is not a manufacturing fault.

To prevent it:

  • Use your tent regularly
  • Air it out in sunlight
  • Avoid long-term storage with bedding or compressed canvas

INSTALLATION & USAGE POLICIES

1. Installation Responsibility & Limited Liability

23ZERO is not liable for any damage, injury, or loss from incorrect installation of rooftop tents, awnings, or other products.

Installation must be performed correctly and safely — preferably by a qualified professional.

This applies to all claims under contract, negligence, or Australian Consumer Law.

2. Installation Guidance Disclaimer

Any advice we provide — online, in-store, or via printed materials — is general guidance only.

We recommend seeking help from a certified installer, especially for rooftop or vehicle-mounted gear.

3. Weight Load & Vehicle Suitability

We provide weight specs as a general guide. It’s your responsibility to confirm your vehicle and roof rack can handle the combined load of your 23ZERO gear and accessories.

Always refer to your vehicle manufacturer’s load ratings.

23ZERO is not liable for issues arising from exceeding these limits.

4. Electrical Wiring & Components

We do not install or service electrical systems. All 12V wiring or electrical work must be done by a licensed auto electrician.

We accept no liability for faults due to improper or unqualified work.

5. Maintenance Obligations

All 23ZERO gear requires regular checks to ensure safe performance.

Before each trip:

  • Inspect bolts, brackets, fixings, and hardware
  • Ensure correct setup and secure mounting
  • Damage or issues caused by neglect or lack of maintenance are not covered.

⚖️ CONSUMER RIGHTS

Our products come with guarantees under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure
  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
  • Repair or replacement if the product is not of acceptable quality and doesn’t constitute a major failure

🔄 Returns & Refunds

Where a full refund has been approved, it will be subject to our refund policy, which will be provided to you as required.
